Working alongside RX Architects, Manorwood provided heritage advice and specifications for the conservation and repair work on the historic coaching inn formed from a cluster of interlinked listed buildings in the heart of the ancient citadel, which was subject to a devastating fire in July 2019.
The complex restoration project focused on a sustainable design ethos to renovate the existing building fabric combined with salvaged and reused materials.
