Hole Farm is a historical farmstead which comprised a Grade II listed 16th century farmhouse, and a group of buildings forming a yard to the west, including an 18th century barn known as Hole Barn and a modern prefabricated garage building.
The project involved the conversion of the barn in to a 2 bedroom dwelling and the remodelling of the pre fabricated garage building to provide a contemporary outbuilding clad in Corten steel.
The conversion of the barn has created a stunning living space which is light and modern but respects the character of the barn as well as the setting of the adjacent farmhouse which sits in close proximity.
The striking garage building complements the historic building whilst providing a functional modern outbuilding.
The project was designed and managed by Manorwood and Alison Stegeman.
The works were undertaken by numerous contractors including Nicholas Ellis, Josh Lalley, Cornerstone, The Oak Blokes and many others.
